The procedural material is designed to help quickly prototype different tile designs commonly used in pavement. It has presets for 15 different design and a custom option to import other design. It is meant to be used as base material for pavement and imperfection or modification can be added over it.
To get started with the material, select one of the preset from preset drop down. It contains tiling parameter for different preset designs.
After selecting preset for tile design, you can play with the etch parameters. Etch is internal design of tiles. You can either pass etch to height map or have them in normal map only. If the geometry is real time it is recommended to use only in normal map as low poly geometry can show unwanted displacement.
To have different coloured tile you have to pass alpha mask it considers binary black and white. if the centre of tile is covered with white it will colour the tile in highlight colour otherwise it will be base colour.
